A New Year, A New YOU!

A new year is a clean slate, a blank book ready to get filled with all the wonderful things you will accomplish. The New Year is a time to set your sights higher and expect more from yourself in the coming year.  Making a New Year’s Resolution is setting a goal for yourself but it’s not about making the resolution or setting that goal, it is about keeping it and accomplishing what you set out to do. 

Top 3 New Year’s Resolutions and how to keep them!

  1. Get in shape! Getting and staying healthy are at the top of most people’s list of resolutions.  So what stops you?  The same routine at the gym…well it’s time for something different.  The biggest motivators that keep people sticking with an exercise program are variety, fun and RESULTS! Find these as well as a community that will support you and you are on your way to achieving elite fitness!  CrossFit Scottsdale students; fitness has new meaning to you. Your resolutions might be to earn your next level band, compete in the Filthy Fifty Challenge, get on the leader board or master a new skill.  Pick one, be specific and let us know.
  2. Lose Weight. This year don’t focus on the number focus on how you feel and what makes you feel your best at each moment.  This means the food you eat and what you do with your body.  Be reasonable with your goals and expectations.  Choose foods that are unprocessed, natural and give you the best fuel. Make a lifestyle change, stay consistent and find someone to hold you accountable.
  3. Spend more time with family and friends.  Life is about the relationships you create and hold onto.  Invite your friends and family to take part in things you are already doing giving you more opportunities to spend time with them.
